Nail Trend ALERT!!!

Beyonce is a fashion icon and a constant trendsetter. She brought minx nails out of oblivion and into the realm of MUST-HAVE fashion accessory.
Constantly raising standards, she stepped up her game in the video for SWEET DREAMS. The nail rings that she dons in the video are nothing short of pure art and luxury. POPPING to be exact. Of course B's rings cost an eye-watering $36,000 in total, so us mere mortals can only dream. There are a few less expensive yet adorable pieces on the designer's site. The brand is Bijules, by jewellery designer Jules Kim.

Nail-spiration!!!

Inspiration AHOY!!

this week has been insane! Everything I've seen I want to put on nails!!! I love the LV brand! The monogram, the leather, EVERYTHING. Luis Vuitton is a branding machine and it pays. I know lots of people think the monogram is exceedingly tacky but you cannot deny that it still exudes luxury, finesse, class and quality.

Well you should see the window display at selfridges it is to DIE for! Can u say SPARKLY?!I am definitely going to translate this onto a nail art design of some sort. so keep your eyes peeled!!

M2M Damorejon

SILLY SILLY ME!!

Encouragement to start this blog came from a wonderful woman by the name of Myrdith Leon-McCormack. She is a wonderful inspiration and is forever letting me know that I can do more and I can do better. Yet I forget to blog about her and her ever fashionable nail lacquer M2M Damorejon. M2M Natural Nail Care is a line that Myrdith created. The colours are fabulous and are inspired by her celebrity clientele.

I know there are a million and one nail polish brands out there (I'm a manicurist after all!), so what makes this nail polish any bit different? Well for one thing it is created by a manicurist so you know its the BUSINESS!! The colours are fantastic, the consistency of the polish is fabulous and its been on everyone's nails...Amerie, Estelle, Rihanna, etc! We also used the polish backstage at NY Fashion Week, London Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week!

As if that isn't enough, every bottle of M2M has a heart. A percentage of the proceeds goes towards helping efforts in Haiti!! Fabulous or what! M2M smacks it everytime.... not to mention the M2M team are pretty damn fabulous!

Check us out www.m2mdamorejon.com You can purchase your very own bottle from the website too.

Get a lick o' lacquer!!

Vogue Vogue Vogue!!

There's a wonderful 'exhibit' on the Champs Elysees to commemorate 90 years of Vogue. The exhibit is available for the month of October and features various Vogue covers from between 1920-2009! Here are a few of my favourites.

On a fashionable note!

WELCOME TO LACQUERED UP!!!!

This blog is starting off pretty fashionably! I have just returned from the CITY OF LUURVE; Paris!! But I was not there in search of, or with MR RIGHT! No, no. I was in Paris for Fashion Week!

M2M Damorejon Natural Nail Care sponsored Celebrity Manicurist Sophy Robson @ Paris Fashion Week.
We kicked off our series of shows with Vivienne Westwood. Forever the artist, Vivienne requested a grungy look for the nails, and so Sophy created these gothic/grungy nails for the show!
